Andrea Maternity

This blog post comes just in time because Andrea is days away from having this baby! Andrea and Craig invited me over to capture some fun images of Andrea’s baby bump. Ben, Joshua and Owen (all cousins) beat the summer heat with the pool and sprinkler and Andrea and I grabbed some shots with some gorgeous warm sunlight.

As of now, Andrea is scheduled to have baby numero deux on August 18th which is Benjamin’s birthday!

Aiden & Bria Pt. 2

Its incredible how fast 2 years can fly by! The last time I created images of Aiden he was 6 weeks old. Today he is a very active, hilarious and bright little boy. His big sis’ Bria is maturing and growing into a beautiful little lady. We created some images indoors and right out on the street! Great images can be taken anywhere…here’s a small slice of what we got.

We packed up the car and made our way over to Westmount to take some new family photos for the Borden family. They brought the awesome…actually Dylan brought the awesome the most! He is an adorable little guy, you guys are very lucky!

Warning: cute little girl with pigtails ahead!

Tonight I got to shoot the 18 month old Gracie, with her Mom and Dad. Gracie was awesome! She was so attentive to the camera and she was smiling away. It was not hard to get some incredible shots of her. Big thanks to the folks on the boardwalk who were walking their dog; they stopped when they realized that the dog was getting her attention and facing her perfectly towards the camera. They stood behind me and I got to fire off some sweet frames. Thanks dog walkers! And thanks to Tammy and Dwight for allowing me to be the one to capture this little girls’ portraits.

Does it ever end? It seems like lately, I am spending all my days with amazing people, aka – Best Job In The World. I spoke to Anne a few times via email concerning some maternity photos. We chatted about some ideas and Anne seemed really open to my suggestions. Since we don’t like churning out the same shots in a studio, day by day, I was super stoked Anne was up for some variety!

I must say, Anne was one of the sweetest and most beautiful women I have ever met. I officially declare her winner of cutest pregnant belly of all time! I really do applaud her for putting up with me – making her sit in a field of flies, walking around a cold beach barefoot, all while 7 months preggo!..its a true testament to her nature; thank you Anne. Her husband Chris was a true gentleman and was also super easy going, which just maid the session flow perfectly. Their gorgeous daughter Grace was running around the field, playing with flowers and being one cute model. We had alot of fun, and I can’t wait for them to see their photos…..ON WITH THE PHOTOS:

I love when cool families invite me into their home to share intimate little moments, especially with little ones! Natasha and Keenan invited us over to take some shots of their two beautiful childen – the brand new Aiden and his big sister Bria. Aiden is the cutest little guy with awesome old man hair (haha!) and an absolute little gentleman. He was INCREDIBLE – not a single peep or cry from the little man. Bria is definitely one of the most photogenic little girls I have ever seen. She was absolutely a natural in front of the camera.
