Matt & Amy

I remember being in Matt's living room, circa '94-95 and him pulling out an electric guitar from a silver case.  I too was just beginning my journey with the guitar (which is more of a passion for me than photography - guitar is my first true love...I'm pretty good too!) and we sat there jamming out to some Nirvana riffs.  This is an incredibly fond memory of mine; needless to say, when he asked me to be a part of his wedding as the wedding photographer, I was incredibly honoured.  I met Amy on the day of their engagement session and we had such a great time - she was so open, hilarious and just up for having a blast.  I knew the wedding was going to be off the hook and they surely didn't disappoint. We made our way to Truro where the wedding was held.  I love shooting in different locations!  Matt and Amy's reception was incredible - they rented 3 or 4 large tents and had it in Amy's parents backyard.  The decorating was all done by the family and it looked incredible.  Then there was a time in the evening when Valdy decided to show up and rock out with the Reception house band; yeah that happened.  Here's how it all played out...
